Our Term topics are based on themes which are different every half term. Our term topics are used when planning the home corner, books or tufty tray ideas. Extending our topics over the half term supports children in ensuring they gain a deeper understanding of the topic as there is an extended chance to explore questions that might arise. In addition, children begin to make deeper connections as they learn about the world. At Big time Pre-prep, we don’t rush topics; we go at the children’s pace. Some of the topics we cover are; ‘Under the Sea’, ‘All About Me’, ‘People who help us’, ‘Growing’, ‘Science’, ‘Places we’ll go’.
